At Harleys Court Holiday Cottages we do our best to give you a relaxed and hassle free break.

What's included:

  • Beds will be made up for you, with sumptious Egyptian cotton bed linen
  • A set of fluffy towels will be waiting for each guest
  • Free off road car parking – this is a gravelled area
  • Bathroom toiletries are provided, including British made liquid soap and shower gel, and one toilet roll per toilet.
  • Washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets and bin bags will be stored for you under the kitchen sink
  • Everything for your first cuppa (including coffee, tea and milk) will be waiting for you, and you may just find some home-made goodies to enjoy too!

We only provide a small selection of toiletries/kitchen extras – for more supplies these are stocked in the local shops

  • New for Summer  we now have a communal Dining Area located in the gardens, feel free to use this space to entertain


  • The HOT TUB is open most of the year for communal use, however during intervals in the year we have to carry out necessary maintenance, we will try to advise beforehand of this where possible

Of course, if we have to carry out repairs the hot tub will not be in use (we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause)

  • We have a Laundry Room for communal use, an Iron & Ironing Board as well as Airers are available to use – we just ask these are returned after use for others to use
  • There is a small charge for the Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer, all instructions are located above these services

For allergen reasons we do not provide any Washing Detergents, these must be purchased individually

Optional Extras:

  • For a small additional fee we can arrange a change of sheets and or towels during your stay
  • Likewise if you wish for a mid-break clean of the cottages we can arrange for a small additional fee
  • Local Taxi’s can be arranged if you wish to venture out

What are the arrival and departure times?

Arrival time at the Cottages is from 4PM or later by arrangement.

Please ensure you have vacated the property no later than 10AM to allow access for the cleaners.

Cancellation or Changes by the Guest: Once the holiday is booked the Guest has entered into a legally binding contract. If the Guest cancels, for whatever reason (including medical and weather related) then no refund of the deposit will be due, and within 12 weeks of the holiday no refund of the full balance is due. Cancellations can be actioned by email .

It is recommended and expected that the Guest will have or will take out a holiday insurance policy (which includes cancellation insurance covering sickness and unavoidable reasons for cancellation) prior to their stay.

Where do we get the keys on arrival?

We will contact you approximately 3 weeks before your holiday starts with details of where to find the keys to your cottage. If you have booked a last minute break (within 3 weeks) we will send this to you along with your confirmation invoice.

Will anyone be there to greet us?

We will endevour to show you around and to say hello on your arrival, however this is not always possible, in the event we cannot do this we will notify you with arrival instructions

If you would like to drop off any luggage this can be arranged in advance, please contact us, also if you would like us to hold any for you while you take a day trip on your arrival date this can also be arranged

Will you send us directions to the cottages?

We will send your directions on how to reach your cottage if required, please let us know if you require this information following your booking.

How do we book?

Bookings may be made by telephone, email or via our website.

For bookings made more than 8 weeks in advance you must pay us one third of the total amount payable for your booking at the time of booking. We must then receive the balance by the date set out in your confirmation invoice (which will generally be 8 weeks before the start of your stay).

For bookings made less than 8 weeks in advance, you must pay us the total amount payable for your booking at the time of booking.

If you do not make any payment by the date it is due, we will send you a reminder by post, by email or by telephone. If you fail to make the relevant payment within 7 days of the date it is due, we will assume that you wish to cancel your booking. If this happens, your booking will immediately be cancelled and the cancellation charges will apply.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept three payment methods:

  • Direct bank transfer
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • PayPal

Account details will be provided as necessary once you have selected the dates you wish to stay.

All payments must be in pounds sterling.

What if we have a problem whilst we are staying with you?

When you receive our welcome pack, it includes the directions and key information for your cottage, we will also provide you with a contact number to call in the unlikely event that you have any problems or concerns whilst on holiday.

It is really important that you call us if you are unhappy about any aspect of your holiday cottage, as we want to have every opportunity to put things right or to improve them for you.

Are children welcome?

We welcome families and children to our Cottages – there’s plenty to keep them occupied!

Unfortunately we no longer have Travel Cots for babies on site aswell as High Chairs etv, please ensure these are brought with you (if required)

Are pet welcome?

Unfortunately we do not allow pets to stay at Harleys Court Holiday Cottages
